Mourning the Past, Embracing the Present – a Micro Poetry

Along life’s winding path, I lost some, I gained some;
What was lost, I did mourn some; what stayed, I have become.
With few regrets for the faded past, few tears for what took flight,
I embraced all that I found, and held it tight.
