REMEMBERING HOLI

Someone asked me how I am spending my time today, I replied “By typing Happy Holi to you to every WhatsApp wish I received. “

These Covid-19 situations has caused us to remember the old colorful days where we have enjoyed this day to the fullest. Even while typing this, I feel like I have aged a lot in just a year and I am willing to live my life in past. But I am hopeful that the situation will improve and we will be enjoying our festivals very soon.

Post Holi Celebration, 2017

For International readers who are not too comfortable with the concept of Holi, might have understood by images that in this festivals we try to paint other person like a ghost. They did same to us. We enjoy it till we don’t find any spot to color.

The Holi Festival is not just about colors, but also about Gujiya (Sweet) and Thandai (Almond Milk shake), many claim that those aspects are not missed much as we can have them in the comfort of our home. However, enjoying those with friends have another flavor, and that is also interrupted by social distancing norms.

WITH A HOPE THAT SOON SUCH COLORFUL DAYS WILL RETURN, I WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY HOLI.
